Yesterday i had the pleasure of going to the warehouse sale for LF! Honestly it has been hit and miss the past 3 times that I have gone but there have also been some grrreat finds. This past time I found the most hilarious ring. please indulge with me in this hilarity

internet! The internet is still down at the homestead :( so i have been reduced to taking advantage of the wonderful starbucks establishment nearby.
(needless to say its inconvenient, but will hopefully be remedied very soon)

MIDTERMS ARE OVER FOR ME :) but im already too busy with other things :(

so i took the chance last night to try some new recipes from a old recipe book that i found at home. ergo the creation of CHHHHUUUUURRRRROOOOOO chips (*to be said like the FleA)

Step 1: cook up your tortillas...

until puffed up but not completely crisp

good to work with while still warm off the pan

cut tortillas into wedges or strips

combine sugar and cinnamon according to your tastes

fry up your strips until golden brown. Drain slightly of extra oils and then toss into sugar while still hot.

let sit and become crispy with the sugar coat

enjoy warm or cooled !

best to store in a brown paper bag to let residual oils seep out and to avoid crushing

I thank God for my mum and everything that she does for me..especially the things i dont always see or think about. I realized today that the life of a mother can be some hard work and I definietly do not give credit or love to my mom for all the ways that she has shown me unconditional love over the years.

yes, sometimes I can not stand her nagging or any number of other slightly annoying tendencies, but nonetheless she is just looking out for me and what is in my best interests.



on another note: I finally have internet!
Losing my internet at home for the past 3 days has made me think about how much I rely on the internet for hours of meaningless entertainment, so I have had the enjoyment of going outdoors more :)

sooo what i'm trying to say is: GO LOVE NATURE NOW! stop reading my blog post and go enjoy some fresh air for a while.

I will not as I study for my last midterm...enjoy the week!

This past week I was encouraged that the bloggers who I look to for fashion advise/inspiration are more than just their home page and styles.  Bulgari chose 32 bloggers to promote their ring for their Save the Children campaign and fundraiser. All of the profits from the rings go directly to helping improve education for needy children which is downright awesome! procrastination. procrastination is the game..

I am taking a break from working on my take-home midterm to blog because I am tired of flipping through my book and I am undisciplined... mainly just the second one. i should really try to change that..


so i thought i would share my outfit from last sunday! I was feeling gross and bloated and yet slightly inspired by ballerinas. (isnt that ironic? feeling fat and yet inspired by some of the skinniest people on the planet?!)

 

see? bloated. i believe the root to be from the night before. I did considerable snackin' while i was at the korean music festival. had to fill the 7 hours there somehow... (*p.s. pictures from that perhaps in the next post). I did throw a sweater over so the scandy back wasn't showing at church but i absolutely love this tank that i got from Cotton On!
