Last weekend was so wonderful! Despite my heavy school work schedule of studying constantly and looking into applying for nursing programs I fully enjoyed my time. Take a look...

Hey y'all! Say hello to the first outfit post in almost 3 months?! (or more) I have had some outfits recently that i have really enjoyed but time has constricted or I am too lazy to break the camera out but something about this new shirt that I got had to be shared with you all.

That's all friends! The most expensive thing I am wearing is the Sofft shoes that I bought for $30, other than that the shirt was about $10, the skirt was $5, and the infinite scarf was my moms (thanks mama!).

Well enjoy your weekend friends! I am off to a weekend of fellowship, fun, the outdoors, and some good o'l fashion Jesus time ^.^

Almost quite literally. I have a midterm in around 15 hours and not only am I taking a slightly longer "break" than I should but I am also feeling sleepy....this is not a good sign.

But do you know what IS a good sign? The sudden influx of loafer popularity! FINALLY!

Japan's movement toward loafers has been gradual for the past few months

I love both of these fancy footwears, but the detailing on these loafers make them seem like so much more!

I am not one for wearing high heels 24/7, it's just not practical for a student like me, so when loafers started making their way into women's mainstream you can only imagine how utterly egg-cited I was.

Looking at these for the past week have diverted my attention from the human anatomy to my black trousers that now look like they could use a new paint job. Needless to say I've been distracted from my school work.

Inspiring hair from stylesight makes me want to dip dye again

After chopping off all my ombre'd hair last week I am having issues letting go of the look. Should I just do the standard ombre of my natural color? Or do I go bold & finally purple my hair? decisions. decisions.

Point of this story is: someone get me some paints & let's get crazy!

Don't you just hate it when your internet goes out? I know! me too.

It's the little things

If you have read posts in the past you will know that I hold an appreciation for unique details on a outfit that truly make it special. My first details post was fun because I took that inspiration to add small additions to my outfits that week that were overlooked for the most part, but every once in a while someone would notice & that is what made it special :)

Thanks to Nicole Warne of GaryPepperVintage's coverage of NZFW I present the most adorable gingerbread detail! MisteR brand's new line for the season adds homage to children's stories & that same playfulness. Aces.

Most people know Jak&Jill, but do you know Nam of STREETFSN? I recently began following his blog & it is excellent for detail and color inspiration! Not to mention his most recent coverage of Paris, Milan, and extensive New York deets. loves it all!
